From headlines to deadlines via press releases, finding journalists, isolating press opportunities or using images this is a fact-packed, practical workshop with lots of hand outs and tip sheets.

Serena Fokschaner

Serena Fokschaner is an experienced freelance journalist who has written for national titles ranging from The Observer to The Sunday Times and the Telegraph. 

Serena has interviewed and written about numerous professionals: from architects and interior designers to craftsmen, high-street and online retailers, restaurateurs and hoteliers.

This experience means that she understands at first-hand the challenges of getting your story heard in a crowded digital world. 

Educated at Oxford (MA, Eng Lit) and more recently at Birkbeck (Graduate Certificate History of Art) universities, Serena was inspired to create this session by a workshop she has devised for The Prince’s Trust where she runs specialist workshops and acts as a business mentor.
